About Me

Hi, my name is Julie Blum and I have a passion for solving challenging problems. My recent projects have ranged from analyzing customer data with standard Machine Learning algorithms in scikit-learn to configuring cutting edge U-nets and 3-dimensional convolution networks to localize brain tumors and strokes in 3-d MRI images. I am proficient in Python and have experience with other languages, data analysis tools, and cloud methods. My previous experience includes research as a postdoc in theoretical physics, volunteering in the Peace Corps, and research in cell biology and biochemistry.
